If there was any justice in the world Lisa Hannigan would be a giant international star. First saw her 20 years ago, singing with Damien Rice here in LA, she stole the show.

Rest in Peace, Music, Love and Light Beautiful Glen. Prayers for your Wife, Child and Family and all who Loved your Music 🩷🥂☘️

A lovely version of this song. RIP Glen.

There is nothing not beautiful about Lisa Hannigan... that voice is incredible

The singing angel is called Lisa Hannigan

Irish folk singing a song written by a Canadian about the American South. Love it!

Three of my faves. Still in shock. RIP Glen.

"They never should have taken the very best..." Damn right. Yet another song Glen raised to greater heights with his voice, his passion,  and his soul. 😢

Thank you for reuploading this video. I’ve thought about this cover from time to time since I first saw it and wanted to watch it when I heard the news. RIP Glen Hansard

Love to all who lost our dear friend, husband, brother and the great son of Ballymun, Glen Hansard

Magic. We’ll miss you so much, Glen. May you live on in the voices of the living.

What a treat! Thank you so much for capturing this so beautifully!

Love hearing this with the flare of Irish voice!!!

Great song covered beautifully here, brilliant voices. Thanks for posting this

"Glen Hansard, Lisa Hannigan, and John Smith performed their cover of The Band's “The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down” for The A.V. Club's A.V. Undercover series in 2012." - American Songwriter

I’d never met Glen. But I love that man for his music.

Oh gosh... goosebumps, water in my eyes, so deep, so sad, so glad to hear this! Thank you for this treasure...I saw Glen 2016 in Leipzig. Unforgetable,...

So gutted to know we have lost any future moments like this, but so, so thankful that we will always have these moments preserved for generations to come! The best rendition of this song I've ever heard! #GlenHansard #LisaHannigan #JohnSmith — what a trio!
Rest in Power, Glen. 🇮🇪🖤🥃
