Devestated, RIP Glen Hansard, a good soul lost ❤

Came right here feeling the pain of losing Glen. Rest in peace to one of the deepest feeling singer/songwriters we have. I hope you're walking on moonbeams.

I just want to cry. we lost a great human

Love you Glen and all the beautiful people returning to this video… make art make art!

Not only Ireland, the Czech Republic is heartbroken too, because this MAN also embodies the essence of Czechness, and very certainly HUMANITY in its emotional essence

An iconic master of breaking guitar strings and singing until his voice gave out. RIP

What an incredible privilege it would have been to be in the room that day. Have been in love with both of them ever since I first watched Once, and was fortunate enough to see them perform in Minneapolis during their Strict Joy tour. I doubt that any other artist will ever touch as many hearts as Glen has all over the world. He was made of music and magic, and he was authentically human and other-worldly all at once. Cannot stop crying for him, and for Maire and Christy, and for Mar. Imagine the oceans of tears that have been wept already for him, and the oceans more to come. We are all so lucky to have lived on the planet at the same time Glen did, and to forever have the art he made while he was here. Thank you, Glen. "This gift will last forever..."

I am absolutely heartbroken that the world lost such an amazing talent. His music kept me company for so many years. He will be so incredibly missed.

I love how Marketa is always so calm, in stark contrast from Glen who can reach near-nuclear intensity.

Can’t believe it has been 15 whole years. This was just yesterday 😢

I'm here to cry..

My heart is shocked and saddened by Glen's, far too early, passing. He was supposed to live forever. 💔

RIP Glen Hansard. 56.
So many musicians die these days, because we lived with the greats, but this guy really made me go, oh no! Loved him. ❤

I cannot express how I feel right now. I'm devastated and tears invade my cheeks.
I am glad I got to find his music years ago. No one can take that from me😢

0:27 "were going to be singing quiet quietly"
32:31 "aaaagggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhh"

These two are one of the most perfectly-matched duets in recorded music history (in my subjective opinion), and Once is one of the most beautiful movies ever made!

Rest in Peace. Forever in our hearts ❤

I have just discovered this and I am in tears. Such a devastating loss. Fair winds, Glen. I am blessed that I was around to hear your music.

Heartbroken. Such a good human and beautiful music. Rest easy, Glen. We will miss you here. 💔

I love how they're basically a pair of shy, awkward teenagers despite being super talented.
