The world's greatest sculpturer, becomes the world's greatest painter. Incredible.

Greatest?
Hell, yeah!
The quality of his works is beyond words.

i love Michelangelo, with his orange bandanna and love for pizza and surfer attitude

Not only was his sculpting abilities otherworldly but so was his painting ability. He’s the greatest artist that ever lived and I’ll die on this hill.

It’s fascinating how some people are born with such incredible talent.

Crazy that some people have this dexterity to carve stone and marble like it's water.

Amazing!!!!!!! I had the opportunity to study in Rome truly incredible!!!!!!! Michelangelo was a gift from God!!!

When I saw The Pieta I involuntarily had tears running down my face ... The same with the Sistene Chapel... overwhelming

About the helpers of Michelangelo on sistine chapel  : its important to say: those helpers were not nobodys. They were the best of the best in rome, because Michelangelo said to the pope that he will need the best painters , because only they deserve to help him. So those where quite famous names in his time. But he called them 'garconnes'' like ''apprentices'', which very much insulted them. They were masters, and they wanted to treat like masters. But Michelangelo treat them like boys who wants to learn from him. So they got in a lot of arguments because of that, and one day Michelangelo simply locked up the door to the sistine chapel.  The ''helpers'' didnt know at the time - but only Michelangelo and the Pope had the keys to the chappel. And when they asked the pope, why they were locked out of the chapel, they knew it was Michelangelo. And because they also had their pride, they left Michelangelo (which he didnt minded)  - so he worked mostly alone on that ceiling.  He soon regretted, because the first painting (the flood) got mold and it seemed lost. So a fresco-expert came and saved the painting.
He also realised when he was finished with that part,  that the people were mostly to small to see from the floor-level,  so every next part he painted big people, so that it looked much better (this is a thing the other fresco-helpers could have said to him, if he didnt scared them away) ..
But you cant have bad feelings with Michelangelo. Because also in my opinion he truly was the greatest artist of all time.

I consider myself an artist/musician. I am humbled to be subjected to your fine presentation of one of the worlds greatest artist, Michelangelo. Also I am humbled and encouraged knowing God gifts to whom he chooses. Thank you!

One of a kind, I feel better knowing about him before I leave this planet

What a great commentary!  Thnak you so much for bringing Michelangelo back to life in such an engaging way!

Just astounding how he was able to carve a masterpiece out of a single block of marble. And to say basically that it was just waiting to be released.. Brilliant !

DA Vinci was a master artist but more of a inventor. People make a fuss over the Monalisa a small wall hung painting of a woman with a smile big deal. But the shear size and scope of Michaelangelo's work prove that God had  anointed him to be a witness of glory.

The range and scope of Michelangelo’s artistic talents is unmatched in all of history.

Well done - really enjoyed the video, especially after having been to see his three greatest works recently - David, the Sistine Chapel and the Pieta. Thank you

Amazing work, skills, effects and mediation ❤ Love your dedication ❤

He certainly gets my vote. He's always been my favorite.

You have such a wonderful way of making every video special!”
