This is why Taranza, Susie and the Three Mage Sisters are my favorite Kirby characters of all time... alongside with Meta Knight because he's just too freaking cool

Love in Kirby himself is the purest form of love. A love for his world, a love for his life.
Love in Taranza is a begging for the love he never had. A lust to be more than a friend.
Love in Haltmann is broken familial love. A love he lost to something he obsessed over.
Love in the Three Mage-Sisters is unwavering cult-like loyalty. To a master who lost his heart.
But in every time of darkness, light can be found. Taranza was eventually able to move on from his unquenchable thirst for his queen's love. Susie was strong enough to admit her mistakes and give a reason to her actions. The Three Mage-Sisters were shown the light, and we're eventually able to find happiness.

I love how Kirby can show that not everything is black and white and that in many cases it's more shades of grey,  thanks for putting Hyness and the three mage sisters are characters that deserve a little more recognition from the public.

Not a lot of people realize how well written the Kirby franchise is as a whole. Hell, I didn't even realize how well written the Kirby franchise as a whole. I knew it was dark, sure, but I didn't think it would ever be a masterpiece in storytelling. I was already a major fan of Kirby, but now realizing the deeper themes it has really makes me love it even more.

I could see a theoretical Taranza epilogue going one of two ways
1:its a story of Taranza finally accepting Sectonias death and  instead of trying to resurrect her he opts to avenge her by beating up Dark Meta Knight since last I checked it was his fault the mirror corrupted her
2:its a story of one last all or nothing attempt to resurrect Sectonia with Taranza either summoning a Nova to try and bring her back or venturing into the mirror dimension to try and find anyway of resurrecting her with him likely having to fight Morpho Knight at the end
also i wonder if Haltmans and Stardreams seeming obsession with prosperity was at one point just Haltman thinking if he had just more money or resources he could bring Susie back

Why I would very much enjoy seeing Taranza FINALLY moving on (what star allies did was a good start), seeing him hang out with either Susie or Zan (specifically) from the mage-sisters and bond from their past would be incredible. These three truly are the franchise's most tragic characters. From dededepression to lit trying to... kill... yourself, they're super dark.

I was thinking just the other day about how some of the later villains in the series show how love can be corrupted and twisted into something evil, especially with Taranza and Sectonia. This is a really cool video.

As Chad Kroger once said in his hit song "Hero":

There are some that believe that Hearts that seek out others are what's needed to end conflict.

But love ends in grief, grief begets misery, and misery begets malice.
Love isn't merely the solution, it is also the root cause of the problem. The brightest light casts the darkest shadow.

So there will always be conflict in this world.

Most children’s media that focus on love and friendship don’t always talk about the unhealthy emotions that could be brought by them. Very mature of the Kirby franchise!

Also I wish more people would talk about the novels.

Speaking of the Mage Sisters…
I’ve discovered a bizarre connection and correlation between them and the Three Leviathans of Hyrule whose remains can be found in Hyrule’s overworld in both Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.

While little is known about these colossal figures, what is known is their respective fates and the environmental disasters they faced that brought the leviathans to extinction… While I played both games, I found some shocking discoveries through hidden symbolism that corresponds to each Mage Sister and their backstories. One in a volcanic inferno, one in a blizzard, and another climbed a tower in despair… in attempt “to be all, end all…”

In BOTW, a set of four rocks form a circle… located on the ground along the vertebrae of the Eldin fossil… This was no Korok puzzle. (I tried it, believe me.) Usually, rocks in strange formations mark a gravesite or memorial of someone who died at a certain part of land. A Great Flameblade is found within the skeleton’s skull. While existing the cave where the Hebra leviathan is located takes us to the Biron Showshelf, where an inactive Guardian Stalker lies in wait. The Gerudo leviathan’s remains are found shrouded in a sandstorm. Inside the skeleton is a shrine and a fairy fountain. Surrounding the fountain are Cool, Warm, and Electric Safflinas… Each plant corresponding to ice, fire, and shock…

In TOTK, while most of these are longer present, the Biron Showshelf is guarded by a Frost Gleeok… The Gerudo leviathan is now located in a cave (possibly an effect of the Upheaval), and there we discover it had a child… that died in that cave… Exiting the cave… the Lightning Temple stands in plain sight… A massive “towering” structure. It centers within the region heavily associated with lightning…

In the Depths in TOTK, strange and unsettling dragon-like fossils correspond to each leviathan fossil on the surface. Each one is a Gloom Spawn habitat… Interestingly, while the Phantom Ganons at the Eldin and Hebra Dark Skeletons carry Gloom Swords, the Phantom Ganon at the Gerudo leviathan carries a Gloom Spear… Even more interesting, while Twinrova comprises of Kotake (the ice witch) and Koume (the fire witch), they’re the surrogate mothers of Ganondorf… And he… in some instances… is associated with lightning… Even his favorite gem is that of topaz, which if fused, sparks electricity from any weapon in Link’s arsenal…

This had me devising my own headcanon that the Three Mage Sisters had an obscure history with the leviathans of Hyrule…

But there’s more… Francisca has blue hair, a mage of ice, and has a calm and collected personality… She also has this frightful hobby of keeping her frozen victims as part of her “trophy collection”… Which divine figure in the Zelda series can relate to her?

Flamberge seems to be of demon heritage… Most fan art depicts her with a fang… If one is to look deeper… who was someone of demon origin who developed a better connection with Hylians? And who else better fits the description of having red hair and a short-tempered yet protective personality? It’s logical if Flamberge gets the former traits from her paternal side and the latter traits from her maternal side.

Zan Partizanne… Undying loyalty… Which race and tribe of Hyrule better fits this description… The sworn loyalty to someone… And will follow this individual no matter what atrocities they commit… Whether for the sake of justice and protection… or massacre and annihilation… Lightning as part of the storms… That “go around and around”… Could Zan have been…?
