It is great you show what Dubai is actually like. All other vlogs seem to show is all the glitz and glamour and the shopping malls.

You know nothing about Dubai prison and how close you were to get locked up. Dubai is golden hell.

The Indian and the Nepali guys were so kind and happy to have your company with a beer. Hope they are okay! Suspiciously everyone was saying Dubai is good even though that’s something you didn’t ask… glad you showed this part of Dubai.

You are so lucky mate! Drinking in public here as well is a crime.

Never seen this side of Dubai before, so interesting! There's such a well run glitz and glam campaign.

To clarify, Dubai is a very large city with lots of different areas. I wouldn't generally call this area of Dubai, "Dubai," it's called Deira, which is "old Dubai." It's a lot cheaper because this is where a lot of the labourers live, usually in dormitories, but this is where they generally go and congregate, because it's affordable. But you get a lot more garbage there, thereas actual crime in Deira, unlike the rest of Dubai, and you are quite a ways out from where the action is.

However, if you are adventurous, you can absolutely live cheaply in Deira, and travel into Dubai whenever you feel like glamming it up without the high rents. However, I would much rather live somewhere like Town Square, which is relatively cheap, but still very high quality and safe.

Public drinking in Dubai is not allowed but I’m surprised everyone does

We stayed in the same hotel from sept 30th to October 6th. Yes, the people drink openly opposite to the hotel’s parking lot. It’s crazy. Both men and women were drinking openly (which is something strange when you think of in Dubai) and you can smell the beer from metres away. That too in that weekend they were having some Nepali festival and trust me this area has a large Nepali community, so there were a lot of people drinking in the parking lot. However, they were respectful. Me and my gf came out around 10pm for dinner. No one did anything, they were just having a good weekend.

The poor parts of Dubai are for workers from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, and some Africans, despite the government's ability to transform them into a luxury space, but if there is a significant change in the region, investment will come more and the region will become expensive for housing and purchase. This will spoil the idea of living in these areas for low-income people.

This poor people were kept in so bad conditions that there is no one to look after them even governments.
In reality this is not providing job this exploitation.. This poor people built the nation even though left in harsh conditions
