Proper love doing these TV show breakdowns.. which show should we do next? ❤

"Can I just say something before you automatically decide it's back-talking?" She was well within her rights to try and communicate on a person-to-person basis here. He's the one acting like a bratty child by trying to talk over her and not give a chance to have any say or communicate in any way. Parents can't just demand respect without giving any. That's not leadership, it's dictatorship.

The whole "talking back" thing frustrated me as a child, and it frustrates me now. It doesn't inspire respect, it only makes it so you can never quite relax around them because you don't know when a disagreement if you going to be framed as "disrespect". It's only one facet of parenting, obviously but... argh, I was shouting at the screen for that bit!

what you said about the discipline is very true, coming from a child who grew up in a house with that 'you cant talk back even for your opinion' attitude 😭

him referring to the CHILDREN as "back talking" whenever they try to say their side is aggressive narcissism at best. that man is a pos.

One of my biggest pet peeves is when a parent asks you a question, and you answer it, its "back chatting"

Those strict parents need therapy.

The discipline thing you said is 100% true. I grew up in a house where children were supposed to be seen not heard it took me many years of therapy to learn how to communicate with people.

I wonder how much of this show is scripted because if they were really bad kids they probably wouldn’t apologise and agree to carry a pipe around a field 😂

I feel like Jacob lied about his age to get on this show

You're spot on about these folks seeming like bad parents. They're trainers, not parents.

From my experience kids appreciate it when you give them an actual answer to their questions, it's not 'back talk' if they ask questions, they're genuinely curious.

Not only is the "slosh-pipe" in my eyes, even though non-violent, a corporal punishment, but he already had that thing ready to go. The pen it lies in also looks as if it is reserved for this specific activity, so I wouldn't rule out the possibility that they use this method on their own kids too. 🤯
To me it even feels like between the biological children there's sort of an atmosphere of snitching on others in order to avoid being punished themselves going on; imagine what it does to a group of siblings that are forced or encouraged to snitch every single time one of the kids does something considered publishable. 🤮
In half of those episodes, the places the kids that are sent to for "social alignment", rather reveal cases of heavy child abuse than fix the problems the children were sent there in the first place.. 🤦🏼‍♂️

I have a sassy 14 year old daughter… thankfully nothing like these kids… but if she was, I would never ship her off honestly

you approach these videos so sensitively and handle all the topics in them so gently they’re my favourite things to watch :)

Natalie is literally just the guards from skyrim. "Disrespect the law, and you disrespect me."

2:58 the GCSE drama play energy of this interaction is sending me 😂

My grandma had the best afdvice for ADULTS around kids defending themsleves i try to remind  myslef a lot now as a parent. "standing up for yourself does not equate disrespect, even from kids, because how do you expect anyone to know how to be respected if you only teach them how to give respect but not recieve it, because thats how you get adults that are riddled with anxiety"  and i feel like these parents could use that tip of advice.

The issues with the majority of these kids is not that they're bad, but rather they aren't getting any support or guidance from their parents and instead they're treated as though they're the problem and you can imagine how that's gonna make them feel and act out even more.

"Go on then, keep us out here. Starve me. You wouldn't, you haven't got the balls. On national television, Mr Pat? You wouldn't dare."
Cam, are we getting a glimpse at how you were as a child? You unruly, rebellious bugger. Hahaha.
Your sarcasm and wit are top-tier. I'm getting a stitch from constantly laughing so hard. Please, never change, Cam. You're awesomely hilarious!
