Luv my Quads and the tilt function and the fact that it's available on the remote pad

I've had Quad around the house for 50 years or so. Quad 2/22 valve amps....Quad 33/303....Quad 34/606....now I have Quad Artera Solus Play (used as preamp) with Quad QMP monoblock power amps.

Speakers? Quad 57 (so called)....63s (these for over 20 years)....Quad 2812s.....and just bought, the new 2812X - tremendous speaker, and the best made by Quad......so far!!!

Oh....nearly forgot, I have an L-series subwoofer, which, with careful setting-up, integrates well with the 2812Xs which are lifted off the ground by an additional 7.5".

Really nice gear, especially the power amps!    I remember the older 33 and 303 gear well, decades ago, as a fan of their ESL(-57) and ESL-63.   Thanks for this review, and happy listening! 😊👍🎶🎶🎶

I have the Quad S2 speakers.  I’ve become a fan boy of their sound.

I’d like to know more about the comparison to the Nait 1. I have one as my main system and I’ve been thinking about replacing it with Quad 33/303, Quad 3 integrated or Nait 50. Thoughts?

The reason it sounds better with 2 power amps is simply power. These days most speakers sound better with more power. Increased dynamic range and apparent deeper bass. What this indicates is that the single Quad is underpowered for many speakers and people that play music a higher levels at times. It's as simple as that.  (Ex employee of the original, REAL Quad}

Great video.  Is there a way for the for the 303s to be powered on when turning the 33 on via the remote?  I have to get up and push the standby buttons every  time.

Nice rwview, I am a big fan of QUAD.  I have a 405-2 and 606 amps, been refurbished.  In use daily, they are outstanding.

But how did they sound vs the original Quads????

Looks great, but sounds awful: it's like trying to enjoy music with your ears full of mud. If you happen to like music with no bass then that's personal preference, and your opinion is as good as mine. I just don't know how you can stand listening to the things when half the audible spectrum is missing.
