Thanks for making a thorough straight forward video on this. Even the tippet ring tip is a huge help.

My experience..., listen to Lance, catch more fish! He makes it simple and it works.

Found this today after building a streamer rig; great information for my leader build! Thanks for sharing! 🎣

I echo some previous comments. I’ve taken many tips and techniques from Lance. They all improved my catch. BTW, that poacher fly is killer on euro rig. I’ve caught many 18”+ trout with that thing.

World's fastest blood knot tie!

Been flyfishing for 60+ years. Been using Harveyy leaders for years and years. I only change a leader when it becomes damaged. Use it for dries, wets, nymphs, and streamers. Only thing I change is tippet, # of flies.

Are you using a heavier euro leader when fishing jig streamers or are you using the same micro thin leader you use when nymphing.

This is a goldmine of information. THANX A MILLION for this one!!!!
But do you prefer the blood knot over surgeons knot when attaching different diameter nylon/fc??

Whats your opinion on twist clips with streamers?

@1Stewman1 1 year ago

Thanks for the clarification on the leader setup. Two questions: Why not a micro-swivel for standard/articulated streamers to minimize line twist and do you ever use a loop knot for any/all streamers, particularly jig streamers? I found that small tippet like 5/6X doesn't like being knotted to a heavier hook but if I use a loop knot I can tie with confidence.
