In this video we show the process to replace a SeaDoo Carbon Seal. We cover what to look for to tell when a seal is due for replacement, how to prolong the life of the seal and of course how to replace it.

This process can be done with a few simple tools listed below. In order to replace the carbon seal, you will need to purchase a kit that’s applicable to your ski. You can use the BRP parts catalogue (epc.brp.com) to determine which kit is right for you.

KS with WCJ was saying 2020/21 saw a sharp drop in carbon seal failures. Another plus of freshening up that 2019 is getting the latest upgraded revision BRP has to offer. While stopping short of elementing the CS , BRP does continuously work on improving the design

38 hours and needs a carbon seal? I have 350 hours on a 2007 GTI SE 155 and original carbon seal with no leaks in the hull. They will last if you take care of them. Great videos and a great channel!

Hi Jake, Thanks for giving us a good detailed like your other videos. I have to change my carbon sea on my 2014 gtx 215l and the new one is super bulky. There is not alot of room. its less than that 2019 in your video. I have a bunch of mods I did. new pump, x charge external fizzle, the 90 intake , riva freeflow exhaust, riva nano flash for my mods and the riva waterbox installed to give me more room to pull out my Super charger and now I battle to pull it out and reinstall it I cut a plastic oil canister to put in between the 2 with some windex to remove and install the SC which is still a pain just without the waterbox issue . Anyways I'm having a hard time to get the space to put in the new c clip. I been fighting this for days now and I have every tool yo can think of and still . I also have a ratchet strap with a shackle on the too hooked to the strap and the hook to the engine mount in the back and ratchet in and its like using a second person but even with this the bellows doesn't give me the room to place that clip in. is it this normal?
