oh the good old bolstering, I will never forget having one of those 'mama birds' on De Other Side becoming a fucking megazord after a bad executed big pull lmao

Volcanic over quaking, teeming, and grievous is an interesting choice.

I can't believe "bursting" wasn't here.

legion was almost 10 years ago,
me ageing visibly

I always hated sanguine when it spawned under a mob you couldnt move because they had a long channeled uninterruptable spell....just like cool cool cool.

I will never forget how many Sethralisses I have bricked because the Explosive affix would get out of control with the amount of ads in that last boss lol my screen would lit up light a christmas tree

Goddamn tanking keys in SL with Necrotic was so painful. I will never forget getting so many stacks in sanguine depths lol

Thundering was one of the goats. Especially once the tank always got the same one

Thanks for the Necrotic PTSD - signed, a fellow healer lol

Honorable mention to Bursting. Boy that was a horrible affix too.

I’ve got to say mate you’re one of my favourite wow content creators. Keep up the good work mate.

I hated affixes that drop or spawn stuff under you when you’re trying to stack for a boss mechanic.

You forgot to mention that necrotic was also applied by bosses (and the adds they spawned), I remember Domina Venomblade, where not only you had to be stacked with your group, but she also summoned extra adds that applied extra necrotic stacks, making it really hard to reset them on the boss fight

Oh... thanks for bringing back memories of Vietnam when I played in retail before the DF expansion  like DK, Monk, huntard and DH. Maybe the DH could save me from kiting, but then I forgot that it didn't last long to maintain the aggro against some top DPS troll.

I think any longtime M+ player can say they got PTSD from watching this.

Bolstering was hilarious. If you were not playing ultra-mega seriously, you had a good laugh when GIGAMOTHER was avenging her eggs or whatever, I don't remember, or occasional wandering monster became an elite TURBOASSKICKER9000

bonus points about necrotic: they were dispellable only by physical immunities aka BoP, (you could macro removing bop and bind it to a button the second you got bopped just to get rid of the stacks then regain aggro) bubble, both dwarf racials, and the kyrian covenant steward potion in SL expansion. to make it easier kleia soulbind had a passive that any buff that was possible for the pot to dispel won't be able to apply for a few seconds after using it which helped it immensly.
also very cheeky sidenote: the debuff would be removed if the tank got out of combat, so hypothetically if the only conceivable way to keep the tank alive was for them to meld out of combat and regain aggro that was a legit way to get rid of necrotic stacks ( i should i know i had to do it twice lmfao)

This video gave me PTSD.....

i loved necrotic week as a monk brew i stack them really slowly even in big pulls becouse of dodge and players panic for no reason. And i realy hate overflowing. i remember as a monk heal i coudnt cast sheilun gift becouse it was like a lay of hand absorb efect.

Doing keys at 12+ and ignoring the horrible affix mechanic is some hidden pleasure
