I have to admit, I’m really enjoying this time of year. The days are getting shorter, but there are still beautiful sunny afternoons when the garden feels almost like summer.
And I’m slowly getting back into my autumn routine — warmer drinks, more time in the kitchen and finding excuses to make something sweet. 😄
Thank you for spending these quiet countryside moments with me, see you soon! 🥰
Roasted fruit tea recipe 💕
Ingredients:
4 plums
2 apples
1 Williams pear
1 small bunch of Muscat grapes
1 tsp cinnamon
2 tbsp syrup
1. Remove the cores and seeds from the fruit (I didn’t remove the seeds from the grapes, but if you find them bothersome, you can use seedless grapes), then cut the fruit into smaller pieces.
2. Add the cinnamon and syrup and mix well. Spread the fruit evenly on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake for 20 minutes. Then stir the fruit and bake for another 20 minutes.
3. You can transfer the finished roasted fruit into hot, sterilized jars and let them cool wrapped in a blanket or towel. Or, like I did, portion it into smaller amounts and freeze it, so you can always take out just as much as you need.
This amount makes a relatively small batch of roasted fruit tea, so feel free to increase the quantities if you’d like to make more. 😊
I use an automatic translator for the subtitles, so the text might sound a little unusual sometimes. If your language is missing, please let me know and I will add it to the list. 😊
