I was watching Green Street the movie where Frodo is some kind of hooligan, and then here I am

If I were a foreign billionaire, I would invest in Milwall so they'll play West Ham twice every season

Nothing happening: perfect view.
Something happens: ultra zoom and move camera violently left and right.

No wonder why my bus never turns up.

the calm demeanor of those horses always amazes me

This is possibly the reason we got moved from Upton Park. Only one road to the station, for both sets of fans.

This isn't a riot. This is just the police blocking off some fans.

@ADD_AJ 14 years ago

why is it horses are able to stand their ground in front of a mass of angry fans, but as soon as you go past them on a push bike, they shit themselves and bolt?

Was there that night absolute carnage for hours before and after the game. The police shut Upton Park station and had all the Millwall fans getting off at East Ham the next one along. I got off there coming from the other direction and there was one policeman on duty at station. It was madness.

Recommended for me by Youtube - what was I meant to be watching? Just a crowd of people near some buses making a lot of noise.

The Boleyn, Upton Park is perfectly safe for you to bring your family. Violence is extremely rare these days and its potential confined to once in a blue moon type fixtures, i.e., when we play Millwall.
Enjoy your time in London and welcome. I hope you and your family bring us some luck as we badly need it at the moment.
