Jean has Omega level Telekinesis & Telepathy before the Phoenix Force. Marvel has always said her Telekinesis is more powerful than her Telepathy until recently.
However, she always had Omega Level Telekinesis.

Jean grey is ONE TRUE PHOENIX with her mutant powers. There were other hosts more specific her predecessors like Firehair(Lady Phoenix)she mutant but with power of telepathy & telekinetic like her.

Jean and the Phoenix are confirmed to be the same entity, Jean having created the Phoenix from herself. This was established in the latest comics.

The totality of the Phoenix exists across the Omniverse. The Force is the entire ocean, here on Earth - a fragment of the Phoenix inside a host in a single universe is like taking a cup, and scooping up a cupful of seawater.

as iconic as the original dark phoenix saga can be, the first appearance of Jean Grey as the Phoenix/Dark Phoenix is actually not Jean Grey (See X-Factor #1 several years later). It's a copy created by the Phonix entity itself

You brought up the phoenix 2024 run by Stephanie Phillips, but you completely disregarding the massive retcon that confirms that Jean and Phoenix have actually always been one since the beginning of their existence before the big bang. Phoenix and Jean were created as one being by TOAA. And they always have been. They’re a holy trinity (the white hot room, Phoenix, and Jean grey)

I’m surprised you didn’t mention that the original version of the Dark Phoenix story was that “Phoenix” simply when Jean got hit by radiation from a solar storm when piloting a shuttle to Earth, which further rusted her powers - and “Phoenix”is just the new code name she gave herself to supplant “Marvel Girl,” officially.

It wasn’t a cosmic entity. Just Jean’s own powers.

They they reconned Phoenix into being a cosmic entity because they wanted to resurrect the character but not have her responsible for the deaths of five billion people.

The latest comics merged the two stories, stating that Jean created the Phoenix in the first place, so it was always her. Jean and Phoenix are the same entity and always have been. The reason that the Phoenix as a force existed aeons before Jean was born is just because the Phoenix transcends time and space.
