This animation seems a mix between western cartoons and anime

Cyclops. Says he'll never find anyone like Jean, then immediately marries her clone.

"But Wolverine survives..."
Because of course he does

I like how they're not pretending that the X-Men don't exist anymore

Well, that was depressingly adorable.
Like a cutesy anime that starts off innocent and then a character just dies violently out of nowhere.

TL;DR Jean can't stop dying and making Cyclops depressed

The animation style for this is really cute and charming tbh

Too bad the Dark Phoenix film didn't stay faithful to the comics. I love this storyline WAY MORE!!!

This style represents right the original personality of Jean, kind and beatyful, childish cuteness but strong willing, the artist behind this animation truly knows the character 👌

MARVEL.

HIRE THIS WOMAN TO LEAD A SERIES.

HECK, MAKE A NEW X-MEN SERIES WITH HER AT THE HELM OF ART DIRECTION.

People: "Oh my God! Jean is so beautiful!"

This is by far the cutest version of Jean Grey. Marvel should do a whole X-Men show in this style.

2:30 Apparently not THAT hard, it only took you like 30 issues.

Man, anime Jean has super high waifu potential.

I have to admit, this was a pretty good recap, but they skipped over the part where Jean Grey dies before becoming the Phoenix. Just a minor detail.
