Fake reaction

Evidently the captions couldn't even keep up. LOL

Slipknot's first biggest hit would have to be "Wait and Bleed". That would be a great next song. Another good one is "Psychosocial".

RIP Joey. One of the best drummers to do it.

something that im sure was said when you first posted this, but something i think is critical to understand is Corey Taylor, honestly had some shit friends back in the day, he tells a story of how one time he got trashed, passed out, his friends thought he was dead, and when he woke up he was in a dumpster. His friends didnt take him to a hospital, they didnt call an ambulance, they fucking tossed his ass in a dumpster.

They do have much darker stuff, on one of the songs, Corey Taylor came into the booth all fucked up, and somehow got his hands on a broken piece of glass, or a candle stick, and was cutting himself as he was doing his recording.

He's talking about what he does to relieve his migraine headaches whenever he has to perform for audiences regardless of his discomfort

Seeing Slipknot live is an amazing experience… Corey sounds just as good live as he does in studio

We Slipknot fans are proudly known as "Maggots". BP dive in they have some very deep messages in their lyrics especially as they grew older. I've been a Maggot since 1999. First time I heard them I was hooked. The ability to let music release my internal aggressions, and pain was and is pivitol in maintaining my sanity. My anger has been demonized growing up because I have a booming voice that shakes the house. I'm not violent towards my loved ones, but my voice is terrifying to them and thus I was essentially forced to suppress my anger growing up and even still to this day. I grew up and still to this day if I raise my voice PD gets called. Never got into trouble and in reality the Police have had my back. They have told my family that I need to be allowed to express anger rather than suppress it. They know there is nothing to fear when I'm roaring, it's when I grew stone cold silent that things can make the turn to violence as a few of the officers have seen and luckily there was a punching bag or tree near by to beat my knuckles and forehead bloody on. Slipknot saves lives.

RIP Joey and Paul, sorely missed

This is quite possibly the most iconic song from Slipknot. This one rivals that of their earliest big hit known a "Wait and Bleed".

the members of Slipknot are good at harnessing the aggression that this song has

Info drop to BP: the band members change their masks every album. Knowing that reactions are most often recorded in blocks, here's my recommendation:
1. Slipknot - Devil in I. Don't be scared off by the name, the lyrics are very deep and the video plays off the individual fears of the band members.
2. Slipknot - Before I Forget. A song that like Duality is popular with the metal genre at large, not just Slipknot fans.
3. Slipknot - Psychosocial. This song was very special for a friend of mine while he was going through his divorce.
Now the palette cleanser to end the recording block.
4. Stone Sour - Through Glass.
If you know, you know.

Packin da mac in da back of da ac 😂 big bun!!!

Met them on the OZZFEST tour , they were all super sweet to all of us

Wait and Bleed, Spit it Out, Psychosocial, Snuff

Love this music video slipknot invited super fans to be in it. That’s why it’s so raw and unique. One of my favourite songs.

I will say this. I don't like Country, Rap or blues exclusively but, I see the best in all genres. For example, I love the best of each.

Actually if you push your fingers into your eyes, it releases something in the brain that has a calming and stress relieving effect.

Pushing his fingers is a metaphor. He is living destructively because he is angry.
