Monkey watch needs to die

Fun science fact! The "tutorial" at the start was actually the game being clever, televisions all have different levels of input delay so what you were actually doing was a screen calibration

Ain’t got rhythm, but he really doesn’t have rhythm.

Usually, when RT's titles are "A man who can't do a thing does the thing", it's an exaggeration.
Not here.

I think what kills me about RT relying on visual cues and failing Monkey Watch is that Monkey Watch HAS a visual cue, the monkeys pull their arm back a beat before you press A and he just... doesn't see it.

This entire video is like one of those mobile game ads where it’s like “mom vs dad” but it’s only the bad side

@noirbe238 5 years ago

i thought he was joking when he said he didn’t have rhythm. but man. he REALLY has no rhythm.

I love how after Monkey Clock his medals nearly disappeared, it's like a part of his rhythm had been sacrificed during that level.

RT calling himself the rhythm master and immediately going into monkey watch will forever be my favorite sequence of events

Rhythm Heaven endscreens be like:
“Wow you cured cancer, and saved many lives!
You pushed the bounds of science, and will be wroten down in history!
Everyone loves you!

... but still just OK. “

Edit: English is my first language, and no, I am not changing the "wroten".

I was like "wow, this is longer than usual" so I checked how long I'd been watching for and then realised this video was about as long as Toy Story.

“I’m sure his rythm isn’t that bad”
*sees the intro
“Hm... damn”

@Racesolar 3 years ago

my favorite parts of this are every time RT goes for the Perfects or goes "we're gonna focus this time! we're gonna get it!" and then immediately misses the very first beat

@buggiesmile 5 years ago

I sat there judging him for his lack of rhythm like “how could you be THAT bad” and then I remembered I set my hair on fire an hour ago so I guess we’re all good at different things.

it killed me when rt refused to finish the shrimp shuffle tutorial and immediately failed, followed with: “You didn’t read the instructions.”
The game knows.

@cinnasauria 5 years ago

something is just really funny about seeing someone skip the instructions and then get a "you didn't listen to the instructions" results screen

Fun fact: Love Rap is so difficult in English because the way it’s translated basically makes the audio cues in the voices entirely silent, making it much harder to know when to hit the note. If you learn to play it in Japanese it’s actually very easy
