I broke parts of my parking brake assembly getting a stuck rotor off. I needed help replacing the parts. This video was perfect. Great job thank you.

When I removed the rotor, the right side parking brake shoe retainer spring fell out with it.
Putting the brake shoe retainer spring back in is impossible for me, as well as the professional mechanic I know who tried it too.
YOU make it look so easy with needle nose pliers.
Is there any special tool I can use to hold onto the top retainer?

I came here to see you put the bent “devil” pin/spring assembly together…. Ahh well, great video otherwise!

I replaced the drums on my 2011 Camry. I didn't get a new spring kit so I reused the old ones. Maybe that's the cause but I can't seem to slide the brake rotor on without force even after I adjust the shoes to its lowest position. I install everything correctly because the passenger side didn't give me any issue. Could it be that the old spring is worn and it's not pulling the shoes tight?
