I recon St. Trinians (2007) is the next step after this movie :)

The WHIPLASH I got in 2008 when SLAGGY LINDSAY became KATE!!!

Angus, Thongs, Perfect Snogging came out then 22 DAYS LATER this one came out!!

My 13 year old-self could not deal & both of them still slap!

I love that there was a couple years that Juno Temple just played the most dishevelled girl at the entire boarding school

As well as moaning myrtle, the friend (13:44) is "Slaggy Lindsey" from Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging as well😅

Thank you for acknowledging that this actually was a pretty well-shot and well-layered film. Also as an American living in England, I promise we don't all talk like this---just the iconic bits.

I won’t lie, the main reason I ended up watching this movie is because it was directed by the same person who made Horrid Henry The Movie and that is one of my favourite “bad movies”.

When I was a kid my bestie and I watched this at a sleep over, my mate fell asleep and left It in the DVD player, I couldn’t sleep and proceeded to be too anxious to ask for the remote (she was sleeping on it) and watched this movie 5 times. 5 times. I think I actually went insane that night

fun fact the actress who plays kate/poppy’s bestfriend, i seen her walking past me a while ago and i was like omg that’s the woman from wild child and my mam said ye she went to school with me ive known her for years, she don’t remember me tho🤣

Bend it like beckham is a must if you haven’t seen it, same director as Angus thongs and perfect snogging but has Keira knightley it’s so good

Watch St. Trininan's! It the 'hard core' version of wild child

The fact that Kimberly Nixon played both Kate in this and Lindsay ‘the slag’ (wet Lindsay) is so funny to me for some reason.

If Americans want to know what England is really like they should watch The Inbetweeners

And not the bastardized American remake, the real Inbetweeners (it's free to watch on Pluto TV by the way, not sponsored we swear)
