To AIR is Not Human💫🐐✨💯⭐️☑️

MJ was still a top player at 40, averaged about 23 a game with two bad knees that needed to be drained a couple times a month and tendinitis in his wrist

The last play was a game 6, not 7.

I’ve been watching PATRICK EWING since the 1980s. I watched MJ play and LOSE to Ewing at Madison Square Garden IN PERSON in 1997. MJ was amazing. From 1986 to 1998, Patrick Ewing anchored the Knicks without ever playing alongside a single All-NBA teammate. In that entire 13-year stretch, he had just three All-Star teammates:
Mark Jackson (1989)
John Starks (1994)
Charles Oakley (1994)

Still, from 1989 to 1998, New York averaged 51 wins per season and reached the NBA Finals in 1994. He averaged
20-PPG and 10-RPG in 75 games in EIGHT STRAIGHT SEASONS, the LONGEST STREAK in NBA HISTORY. Ewing didn’t just carry the Knicks — he elevated them.

Almost all of the time when you get to finals or playoffs, players shooting percentage drops slightly, or a lot. The pressure always impacts shooting percentage. Jordan, nothing changed. The pressure didn't impact his shooting percentage at all, sometimes he'd get better under pressure. That's one factor people don't really talk about too much.

Simply the GOAT and ps he had in his contracts that wherever he is he can play basketball anywhere and anytime ( even on the street)😂

The whole atmosphere was better in the 90s as well it was just the best time to be alivs IMO..

The goat plain and simple

Bryan Russell was guarding on the last shot

I was fortunate enough to watch every one of Jordan's games some of them live at the United Center

6'6", 48" inch vert, 4.38 40 yd dash, Jordans athleticism was absolutely insane back then. Add on his skill and tenacity? I watched him live, and I'lkl never get tired of watching these reaction videos. There were other greats, but no single player elevated the game anywhere near as much as #23 Jordan did!

The Utah guy he cooked for the game winner was Bryon Russell.  Ironically, Russell was talking smack to Jordan when MJ was playing baseball saying he could lock him up.  Mike Jeff wasn’t laughing and said something to Karl Malone like “Karl, you better talk to your boy”.  After MJ came back to basketball, he proceeded to hit 2 game winners in the finals on Russell.  Game 1 in 1997 on the pull up and Game 6 in 1998 on the cross.

Definitely check out Mike's underrated Wizards years, definitely 💯
At 40 he played all 82 games, BOTH sides of the court, on a busted knee...
Scottie did indeed dunk on Ewing, one of the most disrespectful dunks in NBA history 👊
The switch hands layup against the Lakers was his 13th consecutive field goal.....in the finals......

I was born in 92, but 90s culture was peak. I was too young to catch bulls MJ and didn’t watch the nba yet when he was playing for the wizards. I grew up watching the mid-2000s through about 2020 nba. Once teams stopped playing defense, taking 40 3’s per game, and all playing the exact same way, I tuned out. I was a DIE HARD nba fan too and went to at least 20 different games in multiple different arenas.

The only games I watch nowadays are when the spurs play a prime time game. I like to watch Wemby (when he actually plays, but I don’t fault him for that).

I think Jonny Arnett did a video on Wizards Jordan

Terrific reaction! All of us in Chicago at the time knew it could have been a 8-peat. The 90's were the best decade of my life in all facets.

We did what we had to do in Detroit. Jotdan killed us many nights but he never beat us in a series

Mike played all 82 games in 9 seasons

Jordan have so many highlights you can make top 50 videos with top 50 plays

I've seen mj dunk on 5 guys in his 3rd ever game as a bull and his vertical was 46 to 48 inches
