I’m a Gen Z basketball fan who never got the chance to watch Michael Jordan play live — so today, I’m going back in time and experiencing the greatness of His Airness through The Jordan Vault.

From ridiculous dunks and impossible finishes to clutch moments and pure dominance, this Michael Jordan Bulls mixtape is a look at one of the most iconic players in basketball history.

As someone who grew up watching a completely different era of the NBA, I’m seeing Jordan’s game with fresh eyes. Was he really that good? What made him so different? And does the footage live up to the legendary reputation?

Jordan is 5 of your favorite players wrapped into one when it comes to fundamentals

Love to see the younger generations recognize greatness. Now go watch him play defense and you'll know why he's the GOAT. We aren't just biased, we watched him...then the rest. And to this day there's been no one like him. Great players yes, but no one like him. Great reaction!

I’m old enough to have watched both of their entire careers. Got to see Larry and Magic too. MJ is the best that ever stepped on the court.

Little correction my dude. You said Mike is doing the things they do now. Always remember the things they're all doing now is because of Mike. Mike is by far the most imitated sports figure EVER!!!

People today cannot comprehend Jordan. A man who played 45 min a game, a man who played all 82 games 8 times. A man who looked at every game, every play as if it was the last shot in the finals, of his last game and last play ever. A man who had a drive unlike anybody. A man whose game was mental, physical and athletic beyond anyone else. He was 100% focussed on winning every game. He once said I never lost a game I just ran out of time to win. His skill, drive, determination and total focus was on winning. He used every tool in existence to get there. The closes to him was Kobe. LeBron is not even in the same country. 6-0 in the finals, 6 times MVP, etc etc etc He also played in a physical game, where contact was allows, nothing like todays flag game, where a bad look can draw a foul.

Oh lord anyone who saw him knows. Poetry. Ballet. Music. From everywhere on the floor. On both ends.

You couldn't name a weakness in Jordan's game, not one. He excelled at everything.

A reporter before the Portland series said MJ didn’t have the 3ball in his game so the next game he went out and went 6/6 in the first half of the game just to prove a point.
