Then, as blake leaves the room, Alfred sneaks up behind him and strangles him, proceeds to walk in the room with bruce "he knew too much sir"

“Hi Batman, I’m here to interview for the Robin position...”

Blake had the same conversation with 35 other billionaires before he finally found his way to Bruce Wayne.

What I love about John Blake is that he's a mix of ALL Robins in a way:

He's Dick Grayson because he's orphaned at a young age.

He's Jason Todd because of that anger in his bones.

And finally, he's Tim Drake because of those excellent detective skills.

Rookie cop deduces his identity based on a facial expression.

Police Commissioner not able to find out after almost a decade.

8/16/20: Okay, I get it, Gordon didn't want to know and I'm an idiot for not getting it. Doesn't mean he still doesn't have a brain. Now quit spamming the same thing a hundred times, people. Every day I check my notifications and read the same exact thing.

I love Blake in this film. Assertive and straight to the point, he didn’t even give Bruce a chance to lie.

“Right when I saw you, I knew who you really were” … damn what a powerful line!

He should've said the line, "I want ten million dollars a year for the rest of my life."

Underrated part of this scene but I love that despite possibly having his secret exposed on top of the years of depression for what happened to dent and the first thing he asks is why the Orphanage wasn't getting the money anymore.

"Let me get this straight. You think this man, one of the wealthiest, most powerful people in the world, is secretly a vigilante who spends his nights beating criminals into a pulp. And your plan is to out-orphan him? Good luck."

He knew bruce was batman because he watched the first two movies! Duh! Lol

Joseph-Gordon Levitt made on hell of a Robin without being Robin. The way Nolan disguised him really impressed us all.

This was one of my favorite scenes from the movie. It hit home like a ton of bricks. And to top it all off.
"I'm still a believer in The Batman, even if you're not."

"You gotta learn to hide the anger, practice smiling in the mirror."
This scene can relate to everyone on so many levels. This is why i love this movie, in fact, the whole trilogy.

"but then they want the angry little kid to do something he knows he can't do... move on." god that rings true I lost my dad to cancer when I was 14 and struggled a lot with anger and meaning, this trilogy saved my mindset I connected with batman to my soul.

“Bruce doesn’t take visitors...even from police officers”

I wish I had that power.

Blake's detective skills... useful for becoming future Batman.

“To be angry… in your bones.” Always gave me chills.

A thing I now realized about this scene was the realization of the negatives that have occurred in not only Batman’s absence, but Bruce’s too. A true representation that if you are a good man you must not stand by and expect the world to work things out itself.

“Not many people know what it’s like do they? To be angry, in your bones.”

God that hurts and that rings true for some or a lot of us.
