Is Adam Armstrong a number nine, a number ten, a wide forward — or does the label even matter?
In the first SPARK debate on This Is Molineux, I take a closer look at how Wolves are using Armstrong and what his previous Championship success might tell us about how to get more from him.
We look at his shot volume at Blackburn and Southampton, his movement and finishing around the penalty area, his versatility across the front line, and the connections Wolves still need to develop between Armstrong, the midfield and the wide players.
Armstrong contributes goals, assists, movement and pressing — so perhaps the bigger question isn't what position is he?, but how do Wolves put him in positions to affect games more often?
Forget the position on the team sheet — how would you use Adam Armstrong in this Wolves side?
