In this video I relish the opportunity to go bush in a heat wave. There's nothing better than riding an aircooled BMW R100RS at 40+ degrees Celsius!
When I get home I decided to check and adjust valve clearances - spoiler alert! it needed doing!

The old BMW sounding nice, 39 degrees wow , you rigged a few cameras up on bike for that ride out, editing must take ages, enjoyed the video.

Hi, I’m in the process of buying a 1982 R100RS with 230,000 km. Based on your experience on this bike would you recommend it with this “high mileage” or I should not worry about it as long as the bike is taken care of by the owner. Your honest input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Charles.
