The comparison of Wepner to Rocky is not close. Rocky was banging right to the end. He was causing real damage. Wepner never landed a clean punch. Had he been a lefty, then maybe he could have created some openings. Standing right in front of Ali was a mistake

Wepner just kept putting his face out for Ali to hit. His rabbit punches made him look bad. He telegraphed every punch.

The greatest

ROCKY MARCIANO🎉WAS THE WORLD 🌎 S BEST)❤

THE FIGHT WEE NEVER SAW..!!!?(WHY'S THAT🎉😂

Ali was such a caring fighter that he waited to make sure Wepner didn't fall out of the ring when he knocked him down

Allah sent the angels down to Ali to knock Werner out

Whilst I do agree that Ali was the greatest-the commentator here gave little credit to his opponent who also fought admirably!

The real life inspiration for Rocky was Joe Frazier. They stole Joe Frazier life and made Rocky.

Wepner was a very dirty fighter.  What a disgrace.

Wepner stepped on his foot as he hit him... not a clean knockdown. It showed up later in slow motion replay.
