THE PIXEL ART IS AMAZING

we're caught red-handed
now we face the music
hands are cuffed
how'd they know where they were hiding?
you wanted the bounty
sold us down the river
how could the heart of our band of thieves...
TURN US IN!?
how much did they offer?
how low did your bar go?
silver, gold or copper?
WAS THAT ENOUGH!?
nowhere to retreat
we're cornered, made to pay your toll
i throw my fins up in surrender...
what else did they tell you?
your name would be legend?
praised, known and exalted
WAS THAT ENOUGH?!
Testify against me
trade me in for fame and gold
the depths that parted us run deeper...
cutting me where it stings the most!
----------------------------------------------------------
knock me down
shove me to my knees
i'm gazing down the gun's barrel
waiting for the bullet
got me where you want me
no more hesitation
no "one for all", it's just "all for you"...
GO AHEAD!
guess that you've decided
your ship's going solo
anchors weigh you down
cast us OVERBOARD!
sharks circle beneath
there's blood seeping from every wound
no use in hiding 'cause they see us...
bitter realization
sinking in like venom
bitten in the ankles
and LEFT FOR DEAD!
couldn't see you coming
snaking through the grass below
a perfect picture and you smeared it...
KARMA COLLECTS THE DEBT YOU OWE!

I love this song sm I wrote all the lyrics out to learn it! I’ve been soo obsessed with this cover lately <3

Verse 1:
F: Yo, Big Man! Wanna explain this photo?!
    Cuz it looks like…
    A THOUGHTLESS, CARLESS, CHUMP…
Cozying up to those Inkopolis girls!
B: No, no, no! That’s just, uhh…
Some group of no relation whatsoever!
F: I CAN’T BELIEVE YOU!
   You think we’re- THAT DUMB?!
S: Aww, that’s alright!
It’s nice to see you having fun with your new friends
Maybe you should spend ALL your time with them
  If they’re soo great!
B: Look, I just wanted artists from Splatsville and
    Inkopolis to get along!
And I thought a collab would-
S: You wanted a collab, I want cash!
Next time, we get a piece, capiche?!

Pre-Chorus:
We’re caught red
F: handed, now we face the music
Hands are cuffed,
S: How’d they know where we were hiding?
You wanted the bounty
Sold us down the river
How could the heart of our band of thieves…
TURN US IN?

Chorus:
How much did they offer?
How low did your bar go?!
Silver, gold or copper?
WAS THAT ENOUGH?!
Nowhere to retreat
We’re cornered
Made to pay your toll
F: I throw my fins up in
F + B: surrender…

What else did they tell you?
Your name would be legend?
Praised, known, and exalted?
WAS THAT ENOUGH?!
Testify against me
Trade me in for fame and gold
F: The depths that parted us run
F + B: deeper…
Cutting me where it stings the most

Verse 2:
F: So, when we’re you gonna tell us about this little
collab? Maybe AFTER you got your solo career off
   the ground?
B: Huh? Nonono, it’s nothing like that! I just think
they’re really talented and the pirate motif is
    REALLY cool and-
F: DOOON’T! No more lame excuses-
    I’M TIRED OF HEARING THEM!!
S: OHH, you little- …this is getting old.
Whatever happened to “there’s no I in team”, hm?
Really, did you think we’d never find out?
B: It wasn’t like that, it was just…
It was something we did for fun and to bring
    everyone together and-
S: We both know that’s not true
Now how about you pay up?

Pre-Chorus:
Knock me down
F: Shove me to my knees, I’m gazing
Down the gun’s
S: barrel, waiting for the bullet
Got me where you want me
No more hesitation
No one for all
It’s just all for you…
S + F: GO AHEAD!

Chorus:
Guess that you’ve decided
Your ship’s going solo
Anchors weigh you down
Cast us overboard
Sharks circle beneath
There’s blood seeping from every wound
S: No use in hiding cause they
S + B: see us…
Bitter realization
Sinking in like venom
Bitten in the ankles and left for dead
Couldn’t see you coming
Snaking through the grass below
S: A perfect picture and you
S + B: smeared it…
Karma collects the debt you owe!
