Malum Caedo is the emperor's strongest soldier who wants the hardest battles

I like how in the recent range refresh they've been putting Fenrisian Wolves in as like... squad attachments. Like the new Headtakers have one wolf per marine, the new Wolf Scout kill team has one presumably per 5. I don't know, it's a fun way to include them in with the new models.

Damnit bone man you forgot to mention Autek Mors crowning achievement the destruction of bodt. Bodt was a WORLD EATERS TRAINING WORLD that also had dark mechanicum elements and some Warhound titans. AUTEK MORS OPENING ATTACK WAS TO FIRE SALVOS AT BODTS MOON THESE SALVOS WERE ENOUGH TO ALTER THE MOONS ORBIT SO IT WOULD CRASH INTO THE PLANET AFTER SEVERAL HOURS. HE NUKED A MOON OUT OF ORBIT.

The Charnel Guard are a part of the 3rd founding. The reference to the Heresy is just vaguely saying they were founded sometime after not immediately. They weren't recognized by the BA as a chapter of the blood bc of their weird ways but accepted them after the devastation of Baal

My theory on Malum Caedo is that he's basically the Ultramarines version of Sigismund.

Also given that Caedo uses Vortex grenades and a Novamarines Lieutenant was able to hold off Ku'Gath, the math kind of makes sense that there's ways a Sternguard could bring down a Great Unclean one providing he's rolling a lot of 6's.
