polehammer is great, but we shoukd reverse grip it. Zombies are not ready for this.

As a medieval peasant, this is very helpful. Wait, i hear a hoard well. Wish me luck

Decades of zombie media have convinced me,
the perfect outfit for fighting in the apocalypse is a halter top and short shorts.
and the perfect weapon is a kitchen knife...

As poor peasant, I got me trusty axe. Take it or leave it.

Although swords might not kill zombies effectively, zombies still have to move using muscles, so if you slice through their legs, they literally can't walk

Why hasn’t this concept become a major hit movie yet? I would TOTALLY watch medieval peasants try to escape zombies!!!

You know it just occurred to me, that in medieval age zombie apocalypse there is non zero chance to meet zombie in full plate armor. What a absolutely nightmarish scenario haha 😁

This reminds me of the old Zombie Survival Guide that had little entries at the end about historical outbreaks. The Roman ones were always my favorite. In one of them, they just dug a big trench and filled it with oil and then funneled the zombies into it before setting them on fire.

Clark is the type of guy to reveal he's Superman and just leave Earth when the apocalypse strikes.

Going off of Max Brooks' Zombie Apocalypse Survival Guide, the Roman legions were secretly legendary zombie hunters for small outbreaks in shoulder-to-shoulder formation with large shields and long spears. For solo encounters he recommends a Shao Lin Spade. A trident or hay bailing pitchfork is also noted as being close to ideal acting both as a spear and crowd control device

Ahhh yes it's happens a lot, thanks for the tutorial. Now I have to go because a zombie blacksmith is angry because i was searching in his armor and weapon 14:34

for the weapon, here's a sugestion: the Goedendag.
it was used during the Franco-Flemish war and it's basically a bonk spear, able to thrust but also bledgeon.

Don’t forget that in England at least most of the peasants were required to practice the bow every Sunday

0:33 not the first time he’s said that exact sentence to Clark

Messers and falchions happens to be my favorite swords.

The biting is funny.
You guys clearly have a serious level of comfort and trust you share.
I guess that comes with swinging deadly objects at each other and the trust you have built in your training. 😂

One thing to point out about the weight of full plate that you didn’t touch on:
You're not juat going to be slower over time, you're also going to increase your caloric requirements, which you definitely don't want to do in a survival scenario.
