The only thing I see in this video is Charisma 🗿

Addition:
Strength would be a way more important stat for archers than dex. Especially high poundage bows require insane strength.
Constitution is the main stat for warriors or soldiers by far. Because the one thing they have to do all the time is moving. Marching, marching marching. No fighting skills is anywhere near as important as being able to march for miles and still be able to catch a breath and fight

Imagine if Charisma affects how believable your feints are.

The costumes really made this video for me! But to be honest David being shirtless also made it easier to visualize the muscle groups that move for the things you are discussing

David truely looks like a barbarian character from bg3 in the start.

Clark looked really good in that leather jacket. Wear it more.

Every movie director needs to watch this

Clark looks absolutely dashing in this video

"There are no dump stats in real life."
Best quote.

great video, now to wait for "spellbook arts" to make a video on how do rpg stats work in an irl spell fight

This is why in D&D I treat hitpoints more like "Battlefield endurance" because the moment you tire out, you're dead. Taking damage means you "barely" parried that blade or you "barely" escaped that cut. You lucked out by the skin of your teeth and it cost you a lot of energy. Taking HP of damage isn't taking an injury until you get down to your final 10, usually.

Healing is basically an energy restoration spell that grants you relief to your lungs and muscles so you can keep going. A fighter's "Second Wind" ability is them tapping into their training so they can persevere despite the odds. This explanation doesn't work for everything in the game, but it's a good start!

It is better to understand STR as "athleticism" than it is just muscular power. That incorporates things like structure and kinetic chain. Likewise, its better to think of DEX as "hand-eye coordination" so that it applies well to shooting and other small motor movement things.

Clark, that vest rocks!

Fiore mentions four virtues of a fighter - prudence, celerity, audacity and fortitude. These sure need to be included in some rpg system.

If you have Charisma, you start a YT channel.
If you have Wisdom, you don't start a YT channel.

How I always saw the stats:
STR: Speed
DEX: Precision
CON: Stamina
INT: puzzling through a problem
WIS: quick thinking
CHA: social skills

Clark looks like he's still searching for the ring of power. Dave looks like he has conquered the gym with his sword.

INT build: become the lord’s advisor and avoid fighting completely.

FTH: join your local church

i really appreciate the commitment to the costume changes!

Gaming aside this is a really good intro into HEMA
