We hiked the trail from Dos Aguas Ecotourism Park to the pre-Hispanic site of Nahualac Lagoon. It's a 29 km round trip with 1400 meters of elevation gain—a great adventure with beautiful scenery.
We also had the good fortune to meet Dr. Lorenzo Vázquez, a geographer and researcher from UNAM (National Autonomous University of Mexico), who gave us a brief lecture about the site. It's definitely worth listening to.
