Two crashes, a broken kill switch, mangled exhaust, busted winglets and a torn race suit — and the final WMRRA round of my novice season is days away. This is the race-week scramble to get my Ducati Panigale V4 race bike rebuilt, race-ready and loaded up for Pacific Raceways.

We repair the winglets and fairings, patch the race suit, install new EBC brake pads, rotors and brake ducts, rebuild the rearsets and clip-ons, rewire the controls with glue-lined heat shrink, fix the broken kill switch locator pin with a roll pin, and fabricate a single-exit exhaust out of a 90-degree bend from O'Reilly's.
