ABSOLUTELY love the fact that Jack fell into the same hole twice, immediately after saying "its around here where my memory of the area gets really spotty". Absolutely perfect

The fact that when you heal an injury, it LITERALLY scars the wound over, reminding you of your mistakes— peak gaming

6:28:55 The Boss: "What is an enemy? Is there such a thing as an absolute, timeless enemy?"

cuts to Snake in a full-ass crocodile costume

From the snake impression to this playthrough
Jack you've come a long way and we are proud of you!

It is so freaking funny to me that everyone around Snake speaks like normal people, and then there’s Snake who goes full Anime dub when he opens his mouth 😂

I swear this game is just a movie with some occasional button presses

As someone with little to no metal gear solid knowledge, all I can garner is Snake loves to aura farm every chance he gets which is hilarious during such serious dialogue

leaving the croc suit on during that cutscene was perfect setup for the "you'd taste like a wild beast"

The fans yearn for a full metal gear series jack😭🙏

This video was 80GB when it exported. During that process, metadata took up 4x that space. At least 320GB of Snake I had to wrestle with this past week, which, in other ways, is some sort of dream come true.

Kept you waiting, huh?

I love whenever Snake finds a really interesting gun he goes full blown nerd mode.

Ocelot meowing never gets old shit still makes me laugh everytime

David Hayter the voice actor for Snake, wanted to come back in and redo his lines from the original MGS3 because he believes he can give a better performance with all the experience he's gained of the last 20 years

I always thought the "snake voice" was an exaggeration, having never played/watched a metal gear game. It was not.

Fun fact, the x shaped rig he wears throughout is called a STABO rig. These rigs were used a lot by U.S. army special operations and MACV-SOG during the Vietnam war. these had buckles on them so that if the user was in a hairy situation the helicopter extracting them would drop rope down with carabiners that would clip in then the user would be lifter off. This allowed for fast extraction as the helicopter wouldn't have to land to get them. They would just hook up then be dragged to safety under the helicopter.  He also wears M1956 gear from the same war too. Utterly useless facts, but now you know.

43:03 From what I can tell, it's implied that Snake is speaking Russian to all Russian characters and English the rest of the time.

Just t a tidbit: The Cobra Unit members all had microbombs implanted in them by The Boss that would be activated by yelling their own names so they could be sure of dying on the battlefield if they were defeated.

Now we need another Snake impression for it to come full circle

Also, yes, it is canon that The Sorrow and The Boss were an item, not married but just like partners and it is canon that Ocelot is their child
