The scene where the werewolves are jumping out of the window traumatized me as a kid lol

I remember this episode in particular scaring me the most as a kid because it isn't played for laughs like many of these episodes . Seeing it again today for the first time in 20 years and it still holds up well. Probably one of the better offerings of the series along with "The Haunted Mask," "Stay Out of the Basement" and "Welcome to Dead House." A nice little ode to Joe Dante's "The Howling" (1982).

We were spoiled with good horror back in the 90s and early 2000s.

There was no reason for this theme song to go as hard as it did

The scariest part of this episode was seeing the aunt and uncle remove their werewolf skin partially nude. How they got away with that is beyond me lol.

Guy got himself a cool werewolf gf at the end lol 😂

I guess we are forgetting kids at the scary bus depo and making sleep on a bench overnight lol then the aunt and uncle act like its a very normal thing 😂

Whenever the topic of Goosebumps comes up with my fellow fans of the series I always argue this episode is by far the scariest those Werewolf costumes and sound effects had no business being that scary for a “kids” show 😂😭 and that twit ending was crazy considering it’s a kid tv show

The werewolves explosion was ridiculous 😂

The scene where the werewolves jump out of the neighbor's window always stuck with me. It feels like analog horror.

You get a better look at the werewolves on this episode than the Fever Swamp episode

This one really scared me how his uncle and aunt want their skins back thanks RL Stine

It's 2026 and I have genuinely been shamelessly enjoying these movies as a 34 year old while doing housework.

Stein must have seen/read something about Native American skinwalkers because this lines up so much with their lore. Basically humans who would don animal skins at night to become a monstrous version of said animal, including wolves, coyotes and mountain lions.
