I appreciate all the detailed information you are sharing. Your experiences that failed and worked. What you use and do is all so helpful.

SO...This is now my 3rd video im on from this Thrivans channel and I am more than confident now to say this is by far, and i mean far far, the best diy/how-to/vanlife/construction channel on youtube. I feel confident in saying this bc i have watched this type of content from almost every channel out there over the course of the last 3 years. I recently started my own 28ft stealth cargo trailer build that im going to be living in full time. Needless to say, i have been researching non-stop for the last 3 years and have watched thousands of videos of this nature. I just want to say thank you for your hard work and taking the extra steps and time to show us how you do it. But what really did it for me, was the fact that you provide a link to a google docs that has all the parts you use and so on and so forth....that is next level and i really hope you continue to be helpfull in that regard even when you get million plus subscribers...please dont switch up on us...lol Thanks again

The stress you've saved me with your Knowledge sharing is so appreciated. I've finally found reputable guidance with techniques and source sharing that will help guide me on this nearly overwhelming project, I've eagerly tackled.
The shower was one of my larger concerns, but not now.
This was my 6th video from you and will now return some of the materials purchased and follow this lead!😎 Thanks!

This is a grear explanation. Can you show the process please? Without the visual it's information overload trying to visualize it.

7:51 Loctite Marine Adhesive: He uses this for furring strips because it dries super strong but stays pliable enough to not come apart from vibration. Initial attachment of wood to metal is done with small screws but once cured the Loctite is so strong that tear down later will break the wood.

25:03 He uses Palisade panels on top of the Kerdi sheets in his showers.

Thank you, excellent video. Thanks for all the help you give to the community.

Thank you, this was a very thorough lesson on how to install a shower in a van.

Please do a parts and build plan for the shower. It would be so helpful!

Hi Jeff! Happy to see a new method for install, metal studs,  this van is so similar to what I am building with uppers behind the driver top to the shower and a small upper across the shower. Would you have a cut list ready for these. It's  one part that leaves me less confident on building without the measurements.I am following you for my build and ordering from your list. Just ordered all the shower items and am excited to receive them. Your shower looks so good. I am confident after watching you explain how to do things and I believe I will build a van similar in sound structure from your teaching Thank you.

thank you learned a ton

Thank you. Excellent video. 👍

I appreciate your willingness to show this. I do wish you showed it from the beginning (attaching to floor and ceiling, etc.). I'm having a hard time envisioning if you have flooring all over the van or none in that area or...?  Actually, I do need to see beginning to end. There is so much other stuff going on in the van, I just can't tell 200% whats going on, unfortunately.

Does the metal stud base plate get screwed into the subfloor?

great video! Have guys ever used Eco Flow power stations?

Wonderful. A shower is a must for my van conversion, in spite of a 144 WB. I'm using 8020 for all the strurcture. Your tile option looks like a viable option for me. Thank you.

GREAT VIDEO!!!
Very good in depth detailed description. Wish I could subscribe again...but I already was. This was great timing just released a few days ago, as I am just now trying to figure out how I was going to frame our shower.

One question, do you do something to hide the screws on the outside wall? I wanted to use 1/4" ply but there would be no way to set the screw deep enough to putty over it before painting.

Why do you need to put the shower pan on top of a kerdi board?  Can it just sit on top of a layer of minicell?

I don't see the link to your free materials list anywhere. Am I missing it?

thanks for the info

Hi Guys - Love your stuff. The link for the shower pan on Tetravan is coming up with a 404 error. Do you have an update?
