“Nurie is the most submissive person I have ever met” is a crazy thing to say about your child 😂

They're all so stunted, mentally and emotionally, from growing up in that damn RV and with Jill as their sole teacher.

“Her feet go down to DEATH” has stuck in my mind forever because it’s so chilling and nuts. Especially because of how intense Tim is when saying it, like he FULLY “gets it.”

The giggle panting… seriously the most unhinged and awkward. I want to throw my phone out the window

The courtship announcement videos look like hostage videos lmao why do they look like they're all under duress??

You could make a drinking game every time the word ‘blessed’ is spoken

Jilly Sunshine...
Jilly....Sunshine....

Tim is a menace to society, his incel videos are awful, he is also poorly closeted, some would say his closet has no doors or walls. Jill crying at their relationship felt very like relief/ thanking Heidi's family for volunteering to sacrifice their daughter.

Brienne sounds 11, Evangeline IS 11.

This is a woeful line up...

I’m seriously worried about what Timothy might do now. His family scapegoated and abandoned him, and now his wife and children have left. I wouldn’t be surprised if he went nuclear on himself, Heidi, or her family. He may feel he has nothing left to lose... and that’s terrifying.

OMFG This Jill woman is insane! The way she disrespects boundaries and intrudes on her adult children's lives is u believable! She was literally scripting was Kaylee was saying at her courtship announcement & the mic picked it up. Its no wonder there is domestic violence, mental health struggles, emotionally depleted adult kids, low self esteem, lack of confidence, etc. I predict dark times ahead for a lot of these kids. Poor Olivia, that scene with the tapestry was excruciating. She looked like she was having a major anxiety episode. It was horrible.

Watching Jill's kids interact in the world is like watching Tommy Wiseau in The Room: they're like aliens plopped onto the earth with one prewritten script they have to go off of and they're hoping it's enough to blend in

Dressing a little extra ungodly as I listen to this to make sure I don’t snag me a man Tim style by accident when I leave the house

Can someone explain to me, please how a four-year-old can be so traumatized that she feels she has to confess her sins or she's damned for eternity? And given jill's devotion to Michael Pearl we can all guess why Nurie was "so perfectly obidient"

Nurie's shriek-panting at her proposal nearly made my head explode.

Ummmmmm Timmy……I hope someday you can be who you really are.

I know that there is an immeasurable universe of stuff I don’t know, but imagining what I know about the world that they don’t kinda overwhelms me. Their world is so tiny. They don’t even seem to be able to express themselves with such a limited vocabulary. Everything sounds surface-level. Do they even have words to express their emotions?

“Any last words Jonathon?” It’s giving horror movie, Jill

It weirds me out that the kids look so much like the parents, but more so because of style than genetics. The girls all have the same Jill hair and makeup which suits none of them. The boys and their jet black facial hair in contrast with blonde hair is also interesting. I'm not sure why people suspect Tim is gay, but I'm glad his in-laws have more sense than his family to get Heidi out of there.

It's probable that there are a few gay kids in each of these large families. It is really sad that all of them are swept away into these "traditional" marriages before they can even blink. Another reason they don't want them going to school; they would discover who they are there.
