“Lets see if you bastards can do 90” downshifts, guns it, screeches tires and yanks away, seen it a million times, still my favorite scene in the movie.

Composer Alan Silvestri (at the time, he was most famous for re-arranging the title song of "ChiPs") was visiting the set, and director Robert Zemickis was ranting at him. "Look at this! It's all so small. No panorama! Nothing big! We need something BIG!" So that's what Silvestri did: He assembled the largest orchestra that Universal ever had until that time, with more than 100 musicians. That's what gives the score that OOMPH.

I’m so amazed by the number of movies that Steph and Winston haven’t seen that are considered to be classics. I’m glad they got you to experience it and guide them thru movies

Hi guys,
I am a Aussie '71 model.
In 1985 I went to America for 3 months with my single mum and my younger sister in my first year of highschool.
Whilst over there on a trip of my lifetime, I remember wearing pretty much that same red "life preserver" jacket which was full of duck down!.
Even as an Aussie kid this movie was huge and was the perfect fresh exciting Blockbuster for us then!.
This was,and remains the epitome of why we loved going to the movies!.
Soooo good!.
Thanks,
Zebedee from Oz 👍

It was cut from the reaction but when he's in the "50's: dinner he asked for a (Tab then a Pepsi Free)
Not a Tab" to start a running bill, a Tab was a diet soda in the 80's
Same with a "Pepsi Free" he wasn't asking for a FREE Pepsi a "Pepsi Free" was a Caffeine free soda in the 80's

I absolutely loved Steph’s reaction to this. It’s one of my favorite trilogies of all time. I watch it at least once a year.

There are just so many little Easter eggs that pay off all throughout the movie and the sequels. I can’t wait to see her reaction to the others😅

That ending still makes my heart race having watched it hundreds of times. Everything about it was perfection from the music, to Doc trying to connect the two pieces and the DeLorean stalling as Marty tries to set it for minutes before the Libyans arrive. That scene always gets me, even though we know how it always turns out😅

Watching Steph "buffering" when Doc got shot was GOLD !!!

@CommodoreAvery 1 year ago

Hollywood: please don’t try and remake this! This movie was eighties perfection.

Best Movie-Trilogy ever besides Indiana Jones. Christopher Lloyd and Crispin Glover are Comedy-Gold - amazing Performances and no matter how often I have seen this Movie already, I still tear-up after Biff get's punched by George, the Love-Theme kicks-inn and George asks Loraine: "Are you ok?"

Marty & Doc: best Bromance in Movie-History

@reginafallangie2867 11 months ago

I love your appreciation of Doc Brown-isms. When people say things like, did you see that lightening?, or reference seeing lightning, I often hear Doc Brown’s voice in my head say “a BOLT of lightening”.

The ending where they go to the future was just a gag and not intended to be the sequel but the rave about this film was so massive that they got them all back together for the 2nd and 3rd movies.
