Now to clear a misunderstanding I mentioned the name of a location wrong so I put a text overlay correcting the name of the location on the top of the vid in 0:30, now its clear

I did not know about hunting on horseback, letting the horse ride itself; that will help a lot.

"If you're looking for the absolute best saddle in the game, it's actually the Rattlesnake Saddle from the Trapper. It takes a bit more effort to farm, but across all stats, it beats out the Legendary Panther Saddle overall. Plus, it looks like a proper leather cowboy saddle on any horse instead of a bulky fur setup.

For the early game, the Alligator Saddle is super easy to get and more than enough to carry you through. (Pro tip: just keep calming your horse while sprinting to instantly refill its stamina bar!) So while the Panther Saddle gets a lot of attention, the Rattlesnake Saddle is genuinely the best all-rounder."

Win two races against same NPC max out speed stat.

Tbh I think if you're caring for your steed regularly, bonding happens fast enough anyway, so I wouldn't go out of my way to get a trinket for something that will happen anyway. Just my 5c

Now you don't have to go on foot to get the Shark Tooth Trinket... at the point where you went on foot, instead just take your horse for a little swim around those rocks. Even lower level bonded horses have little trouble getting back to solid ground before draining stamina. Just give your horse a couple pats while swimming.

In Chapter 2 once stables are unlocked I get 2 horses - the bravest of the Arabians - the Black Arabian mare you can just hop on and ride away after a mugging in Saint Denis goes wrong.  A couple of times I didn't pay attention and an NPC called in Horse Theft and I had a 5$ bounty.  But I'll gladly pay 5$ for a horse I can't buy until chapter 4 for 1000 $ and has the second best stats for a horse in the game with 6's in each category at bonding 1. I've also found that she is braver than most Arabians, personally I think there is a hidden mechanic like with "familiarity" with weapons - the longer you ride and take care of a particular horse - no matter the breed it will get a boost in bravery during gunfights, snake, gator & bear encounters and even wolf ambushes - I've never been bucked off as long as my bond was level 4. NEVER. Big cats - well 90% of the horses in the game panic and run.

For free roaming when I'm hunting for crafting materials or for a challenge - I try to be smart and use my 2nd choice for a horse in a playthrough - the Dark Bay Andalusian from the Strawberry Stables in Chapter 2 or the Bay Turkoman stallion from Chapter 3.  I do sometimes grab the Perlino Andalusian in Roanoke - but I prefer horses with darker coats. 🤷🏼‍♀️

"Here is one of the absolute best pro-tips for horses in Red Dead Redemption 2: Don't constantly switch your horse.
The key to a great experience is picking a horse, sticking with it, and building a full, deep bond all the way to Level 4. The real journey is riding with your loyal companion through thick and thin right to the very end.
Plus, a tactical warning about breaking wild horses too early: Horseman Challenge #10 later requires you to track down and break every single wild horse breed in the game. If you tame every random horse you see in the early chapters, you're just making extra, redundant work for yourself down the road. Save the wild horse tracking for when the challenge actually demands it!
Bottom line: There isn't a single 'ultimate best' horse—so many of them are fantastic. Find the one that fits your style, take care of it, and ride with it through the entire story."

The time u need to park ur horse right. Is same like the skin time🤷🏻‍♂️.

The seal brown Dutch warm blood with the rattlesnake vaquero saddle is great

"Here is a crucial tip regarding the permanent horse speed boost that many players misunderstand:
There are three specific NPC challengers scattered across the map who will invite you to a horse race. To unlock the speed upgrade, you must encounter and beat the same NPC twice.
The best part is that this extra speed bar is actually a permanent player perk, not tied to the specific horse you raced with. Once you unlock it, the boost automatically applies to every single horse you ride or acquire for the rest of the entire game!
However, timing is everything. You should aim to complete these two races as early as possible, ideally in Chapter 2. By the time you reach Chapters 4 and 5, the spawn rates for these racing NPCs drop drastically, making them incredibly difficult to find. Knock this out early to guarantee a permanent speed advantage for every horse you will ever own."

That’s not Dewberry Creek

While galloping press g(calm) on pc and it will refill the horses stamina, you can do this about every 20 seconds, and your horse never runs out of stamina. when your horse stamina core drains just feed it an oat cake and both cores fill up

I prefer the Beaver saddle over all

The Murfree black Tennessee Walker has a decent stamina and health pool.  When first got to chapter 2 and trigger the camp site visit by 2 Murfree, do it in north Annesburg during the day so you can see and as they are leaving pull out you gun and kill them and chase down, calm the horse and get it.  As good as the MFT just a little less health and stamina for $1.

What's your absolute favorite horse breed to ride in RDR2, and why? Let me know in the comments! 🐎👇

Dewberry creek? Your in Big Valley by the little creek river! Stop stealing content.
