Guardiola's Manchester City is perhaps the most dominant football team in the history of the Premier League. More than just titles themselves, they played a brand of football that left everyone question how it was all possible.

With that being said, the achievement of this era are often brushed off due to how the team came to be in the first place.

Let's look into why.

2:30 Brighton building an entire squad with a week's worth of groceries is very impressive

I’ve always said the 2017 summer window was our best — Bernardo, Ederson, and Walker marked the start of a dynasty for that season and the future.

I’m not gonna lie, I was one of those who didn’t think Pep’s style would translate to the English game. He made a fool out of me and then some. Kudos to him for creating the best English side of all time

As an accountant who supports City, I've always thought they're guilty of creative accounting. However, I've always been able to separate the football on the pitch vs the dealings in the boardrooms. That's because I work for a corporation too, and it would be a disservice to me to be told my work that I do daily, sacrifice relationships for and even burn out while doing is not valid because the CEO of my company is doing fraud.

Since I'm not lying to myself about the asterisk, I still enjoyed every single moment in every win and also condemned the board for their actions. We're talking about billionaires here, why do you expect them to have integrity?

As a City fan, my only problem with these allegations is that Mark Goldbrigde won't stop talking about them every week for the past 4 years 😩

Tinashe, the amount of effort and research that you put into these videos has ruined almost all other football youtubers for me. Congratulations.

i started supporting this team in 2006, I grew up watching Man U win every year and just got sick of them winning - so I started supporting their rivals. Back then we were like a Crystal Palace. Sometimes maybe good, sometimes maybe sh*t. It was fun to support.
Just crazy how far this team has come since.

It is wild to look back at the financial leaps they made during this era compared to the traditional powerhouses. The data behind their infrastructure spending alone completely changed the landscape of modern football before they even signed those marquee players. Makes you wonder how history will actually judge this period in fifty years

7:45 I completely agree
Yaya Toure didn’t miss a single big chance in the prem that season
Players who score 20 goals usually have like 40+ big chances missed

As an American, I’m one of those typical “plastic” that became a fan during the Mancini era mainly bc I liked the blue color while I played FIFA. To see the club go through all the big wins/losses to UCL champions makes me so happy.
