I think this scene aims to show just how good Wile E actually is at making traps and contraptions, and the only reason his old ones fail so much is due to the Roadrunner being so fast and ACME intentionally making them faulty.
Something I realized afterward is that Foghorn admits that slapstick is generally funny when he demonstrates it on himself. However, when it’s done to him, without consent, it’s the worst thing and he wants them to stop laughing.
coyote has so much xp going after the roadrunner, this was probably a nice cakewalk for him. Especially, since he didn't get physically hurt this time.
It's like how Inspector Zenigata is really good at his job when he isn't up against Lupin. If anyone other than Roadrunner or Bugs goes up against Wile E. they are losing.
My favourite part about the ending is the surprising realism. Your chances of winning a large case against a company as big as Acme is slim, but what you can do is win the court of the public eye by humiliating the big wigs and shaming them. Shame, shame, shame, WB (oh, sorry, SkYdAnCe).
When I first heard the meep chorus in a separate video, I was expecting it to be used in a montage of Wile E. trying and failing to catch the Road Runner. But this works well too.
Yeah, the reason this trap worked is because he used none of it for its intended purpose/counted on things going haywire. Too bad Road Runner wasn't still there to beep his approval.
Love the reaction A note that I just have a theory for. The reason Wiley Coyote was late for the final court hearing was he was setting up the elaborate trap system
go support the blu-ray release when it comes out!!
