Superman V: Reborn — Christopher Reeve's Unmade Sequel | AI Concept Trailer

What if Superman V had actually been made? This AI concept trailer is my take on the unproduced 1992 Superman V, the lost fifth chapter of the Christopher Reeve–era saga that never reached the screen.
I researched the story behind the project and the surviving drafts of the script, written by Cary Bates and Mark Jones for producers Ilya and Alexander Salkind. Each draft took the story in a slightly different direction, so rather than adapting just one, I took what I felt were the strongest ideas from each and built my own version.
A world-collecting Brainiac seals Metropolis beneath a forcefield dome, shrinking cities into crystal to add to his collection. The Man of Steel falls. And in the bottled Kryptonian city of Kandor, under a false red sun, a powerless hero must choose whether to come back.
Shot in the visual language of the 1978–1980 Superman films (35mm anamorphic grain, soft diffusion, practical-effects texture), every character and location is an original design created for this project.

🎬 ABOUT THIS PROJECT
Superman V was developed in the early '90s as a follow-up to Superman IV: The Quest for Peace, with Christopher Reeve attached to return. Brainiac, the bottled city of Kandor, and the death-and-rebirth storyline were all part of the drafts before the project was shelved.
This trailer was created using AI image and video generation tools, directed and edited by Spiros Giannakopoulos / Design Lab.

Even though its Superman 5 , it's really The Donner Superman 3 we should have gotten decades ago.
