Where we stay on a great little site around a 25 minute walk there.
The only downside to this great stay was someone who parked their car on our pitch, now was that just bad parking or bad manners ???

Yes, ideally a campsite. You can have rules in place to make sure people don't walk across other people's pitches or disturb them. It's just frustrating when some people don't respect others. When my family had a campsite in Bavaria, it was a steady business, but sometimes it only takes one person to cause problems and ruin it for everyone else.
