Best advice I have ever heard. "If you don't want an animal that can fly, don't get an animal that can fly"

I totally agree!  If you don't want a bird to fly, don't get a bird!

Olivia is such a snuggle sweetie . I love all their personalities

Not a new birb owner, I just watch your vids to make sure I'm still on track. All mine are rescues who came to me in a sad state of anxiety and mistreatment, I give them the best life I can and as much freedom I can afford. They love me back for it.

Jamie, you’re a trouper to get through the narration despite all the distractions! (Very cute distractions too.)

I am not new to having birds as pets. I still watch your videos! Only within the last 10 years has so much good information about pet parrots been spread and was easily available. Everything my family learned was with/through good educated avian vets or by ourselfes. And sometimes there is new stuff! Science finds something new everyday!  Other times I just need the reassurence that I am not completely wrong even though I do almost everything different than any breeder I have met the past 20 years. Thanks for helping birds and their owners for a better life together!

Jamie: I'm assuming you're new to birds because you're watching this video
Me: Nope...just obsessed with Birdtricks

I got my backpack today. This is the most professional pet backpack I've ever seen in the world. I've already trained my bird to love it through target training!

The wing topic hits hard for me. I have a 9 month old Lory who was clipped by someone else at the place I got him and one is so so so short. I feel so sorry for him because he’s missed out on having the opportunity to practice his skills at a young age, I have no idea how long they will take to grow back but it’s so unfair to him and now his anxiety around trying to fly hop onto my hand which is all he can do. 😕

Not new birdowner but I saw Bondi was in it so had to watch anyway. Hei Cutie. And Berry made her part of the show in the windows.

One thing that I've learned is don't trust bird seller words, do your own research from people that won't get profits whether you buy their birds or not

I love Olivia 💕 Such a cutie. Cute little face staring inquisitively at the at the camera. It's almost like she knew you were making a video and was like "ok I'm gonna be part of this thing too".

Wow I remember watching your channel 10 years ago. Here you are still going at it. Good for you!!!

Someone just dumped 4 pet birds haha so now I’m watching this video wanting to give them the best care !!

Such a fun video! You keep going while a bird repels down you hair🙂

Yaaay ❤❤❤ thank you for standing up for the birds! they do not deserve to have their wings clipped. Whoever thought of that is a pretty mean person.

Thanks so much for all of your videos. I was going to get a budgie (actually two because the breeder was trying to tell me that they should go together). After researching and learning more, I’ve decided not to get any birds because I’m just not home enough, and there are too many risks of toxins in my house. Thanks to your good information. You saved two sweet budgies from my ignorance.

Let me say thank you on all your help and advice, it is so helpful. Now let me get down to my story.
Some neighbor gave us a wild lilac red crown about 2 to 3 months old. It was in really bad shape, looks like it had a broken wing. It is a really hard to find a quality aviarian vet. The vet I took it to said it's wing was not broken and had full motion and that wing was clipped on that side. He suggested to clip the otherside to add balance, so that what he did. I can only assume on thats how his wing was injured, it hangs lower than the other side. I just cringe when he takes a leap to try and fly and then flops on the ground. I know that he is going to have a  lot of emotional baggage. He is starting to trust me as I hand feed him. If you kmow where can I get a good avian vet that can check on the my birds wings. It will be over a year before its feathers grows back. 😢

I always ♥ your advice. Having your birds in the video is entertaining, especially this one. 😊

Great video! I’m not a new bird owner but still watching because I love seeing your birds interacting with you, Bondi is soo funny 😆 love them! Totally agree with you on clipping wings it’s super sad it is still done😢 thanks for spreading awareness that they still can fly ❤
