It not just the keyboard But the best is the entusiasm from this man

Lifespan about 2 years until the Genos 3 comes out, then Genos 4, 5, then a new name again. This has been going on for a few decades, and will carry on for a few more.

Including the FM sound engine looks like a great move…the old AWM e. pianos never ever had the true magic of the DX7 .

I swear you two are in love with each other£££££

@BehroozBanisalam 2 years ago

The fact that you actually have the FM engine inside instead of sampled sounds is already a reason to buy this hehe. Great machine. Yamaha, my favorite music brand.

The sounds alone are fantastic. As soon as the styles are added into the mix, it’s lunch hour at the nursing home, which ruins it for me. I dunno, maybe less in the mix is better?

Thankyou Paul and David, this is so much better than the teaser videos. Lots of detail in this one. I just need to get over and try it for myself. 😁

At £5000 no way is this any better in sound than the Genos 1.a few more styles. That's it..

i can remember 6yrs ago we said this about Genos which i think is still great i can,t wait to get my Genos 2 which iz AMAZING GO TEAM YAMAHA

I'm amazed at how many people commenting can slag Genos 2 off especially hearing how the pianos are a vast improvement
over the previous Tyros and Genos pianos even though there is no way I could afford Genos 2. I admit I thought I was going to
be underwhealmed at Genos 2 but if it means I might get a used Tyros 5 for a more reasonable price I'm not complaining.

A great demonstration guys and it certainly is an upgrade on the Genos 1. However, quite a few of the styles that Paul was demonstrating are actually on the Genos (1). Perhaps a demo of a few more of the new styles would help to convince us Genos diehards to upgrade.🤔

Still using the plastic matt finish top panel , after a while it changes texture with constant finger movements and looks tatty. Even the SX 900 has a matt black brushed top which does not mark.

awesome! very much looking forward to it!
can't believe that it has two sound engines in it and that you can use them at the same time!

FUN and not a little bit expensive , especially when sold and bought in other countries

@gayan85 2 years ago

Why you blured the Keyboard screen ??

@Matrix-77777 2 years ago

What a wonderful sound!!! So fresh and new! But for my grandma)

@Lee_hill13 2 years ago

Sound switching ?? Yes or no, these styles are very similar to what in the original. Also why was the screen blurred out when Paul was playing f certain styles and sounds. What are they hiding ??

@johnsammons3827 2 years ago

It is really the love for music

@tonyhussaindc 2 years ago

Beautiful performance. While 80s and 90s sounds are great, but what about the current 2023 and beyond sounds ??? And how about classic and emerging Indian (Bollywood) sounds? Thank you
