Great tip on replacing those grease zerks!
The manual on your mower might have instructions on how to set it.  On my Land Pride (kubota) it says to set your mowing height with the 3 point and then adjust the tail wheel  for 0 to 1" higher.  The rear should not be lower than the front.  It came with a slip clutch, the manual also says to slip the clutch and reset the tension on it at the start of every mowing season.

Thx very good vid.  One thing I might want to add is the Shear Bolt.  I have a Founteer RC 2060 brush hog made sold by John Deere.  When you shear the pin, I cut a hole in the guard like you did to grease on four sides to get to the shear pin, otherwise you have to disconnect the drive shaft from the tractor to turn the blade and get to the shear pin hole.  Fronteer puts the brush hog and other impliments together in the US but they are made with Japanese meteric shear bolts.  You get the right shear pin 1/2" SAE and it will go through the drive shaft but is too big to go through the gear hole.  It's a metric 8 size, not 1/2".  So you have to go back to the hardware store and get a metric 8 bolt and use washers.  Becare full of the bolt rating.  It should have no hash marks on the head.

So what to do when the tailwheel doesn't adjust low enough?

Why not put a magnetic level on top of the cutter and make adjustments based on the bubble. That would cover side leveling as well.
