"As we say on Mon Calamari, swim where you want, but excrete in your own pool. The Empire's been excreting into the Aqualish pool for years, and if my guess is right, they might have a revolt on their hands soon." ―Sissalik

"I do not PEACE! I want PROBLEMS, ALWAYS!"
-Aqualish, uttered once a second by at least 10 people

As a species, it seems they were the late-bloomers who took milenia to realise there is always a bigger-stronger arsehole out there before they took some responsability for their own holdings during the Rebellion.

Massive respect to the amount of lore that went into this species and their lore. Never knew it went this deep especially for a background species in the setting minus a handful of characters.

The Aqualish really looks like a crossover between a sea lion and a tarantula

Ah, Ando, the common retort when people call Tattooine a wretched place to live.

I remember the the first session of a TTRPG campaign where we played bounty hunters specializing in recovering ships that took us to Ando. The Ando job would prove to reshape the campaign entirely.

"Hello ugly" - Anakin Skywalker to Admiral Trench (whose species, the Harch, was actually related to the Aqualish)

Every time he says Aqualish, take a drink. Just not alcohol as that'd be dangerous.

@zexalbrony4799 2 months ago

Since you asked for another species to talk about and you mentioned them in the description, how about a video on the Bith?

A resilient species and persistent ones at that.

This was fascinating and insightful and I hope you can cover the lore of the sith entity Sel-Makor from SWTOR and the Voss because that would be interesting to see as well.
