They are working on the first production version builds, I got to sit in the one of the first two. The seats had just been put in, in the second to the last stage of the low volume production line. There are 10 vehicle in that first batch working through the checking out of the production process and stages. These 10 will be used in various validation stages like actual milage range, top speed, actual drag coeficient, and some for crash testing for air bags ... Had a ride in the golden Gama pre-production build. Very quick and comfortable.

I actually reserved one myself quite some time ago, before the pandemic, and I still find myself wondering whether I’ll ever see one on the road.

Patiently waiting for my Aptera.

I have no problem with issue number: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7. The issue I have with it are the sun glare from the dashboard, and replacing the rear tire since they still have not really shown us how yet.

I would pull a honda generator on a motor cycle trailer any day.and also some night charging solar panels and some powerful flash lights also.

This is the right concept for daily commutes where single occupancy type cars should be so cheap that everyone will have one in there drive way. But this greddy concept car is not manufactured for the common good and its li,e.y to be a glash in the pan because this business model is to suck $40,000 out of early adoptors and then to move on. This is a pro d uct if priced need 10 k would have dustainability if they did everything esle right like after purchase support.😊

Better than a motor cycle.

Is 34 cubic feet limited cargo space?

@chrisbarrett2512 11 months ago

Your time frame of 2 years to production is pessimistic, maybe 1 year but we do not know for sure. Limited cargo space is completely wrong, the vehicle has 34 cubic feet plus of cargo space, and room for two adults who can sleep in the back. Efficiency is what Aptera is truly about. I drive a Prius, which allows me to drive great distances for little gasoline, getting around 55 MPG. The Aptera is supposed to get around 350 MPGe, almost 7 times what my Prius gets. Not sure where your AI clip is coming from, as you vacillate from being supportive to being a naysayer.
Aptera is not without the eyeballs to zero in on it, and it might start a few conversations, but it also allows clean air, if you like breathing it is a great choice. It should be nimble, and drive like a sports car, at a fraction of the cost of most sports cars. But having an Aptera as an early adopter, just says you care about the planet, and you care about efficiency. The future isn't what it used to be, and Aptera is a wonderful development.
