Love your work mate. Please keep at it. Try getting some consoles next to repair. Also have another suggestion for you. Add your ebay store/listing links to the description. That will help you clear the inventory faster.
Great job! You have done all the required tasks for a laptop service. Use nitrile or rubber gloves next time. It will minimize finger marks.
Most of new laptops do not come with seperate cmos battery or rtc battery, instead it rely on the laptop battery. This rtc battery is responsible for providing electricity in order to save date and time and bios settings.
So when you remove the battery those settings will reset. Thats why the 3rd laptop took lot time to boot after servicing
I bought an old dell laptop (Latitude 5300) and when I rubbed the top of the laptop with Isopropyl alcohol, it dissolved the entire paint and now it looks silvery (it was originally dark grey or almost black). I'll me more careful with isopropyl alcohol now.
Tengo una dell que me dieron del trabajo....despues de ver tu video creo que si me animo a cambiarle la pasta termica, al segundo de prenderla ya tira calor la pobre XD. Excelentes videos!
If you're going to be cleaning so many machines, consider doing away with the cold cans of air and invest in an electric air duster. You'll save sooooo much money in the long run. You're trying to profit from this, right?
Also, you make me nervous scraping off thermal paste with a hard screwdriver instead of just using several alcohol-soaked Q-tips or a shop towel. I pray you don't eventually damage a CPU. Nonetheless, I look forward to your future projects.
