I think all children believe that the birth candles and cakes are all about them, and they usually want to have gifts along with the birthday person. Just watching your baby son blowing out the candles reminds me of what we had to go through in March (Relighting the candles so that the smaller one can blow it out even though it's not his birthday). It's hilarious, but it's something to do just for the sake of peace. 😊😊
I love that your son was taken care of his baseball glove, because it shows that he really appreciated receiving it.
I admire him for that.
Some children do not take care of what they receive because they feel they're entitled, and so they don't care.
