Love how all these movies are “Man is somewhat sceptical of creationism until he gets brain damage”

@jetpixi13 10 months ago

“Don’t touch the bones with your bare hands! Don’t touch the bones!” I actually yelled outloud.

@GenderfaeCrab 10 months ago

The plot of this movie really is just "My dog ate my evidence for creationism please don't laugh at me".

The fuel in his very nice car is older than he thinks earth is.

a failed security guard that falls asleep on duty becoming an FBI agent is the part of this that makes by far the most sense

"The Forrest Valkai Institute For Being Correct" would go SO hard on a T-shirt, honestly.

So, basically, they are just buying their own trophies and claiming that they "won".

i like how the first scene with his son is like

"my textbook says this, as do my teachers and a bunch of other people i know, and they've shown me evidence for it"

"erm, i don't think that's right"

As chief administrator of the Fieryweasel Association of Truth, I hereby accredit the Forrest Valkai Institute of Being Correct.

I dont think "the more traumatic brain injuries you suffer at work, the more compelling the bible is" is the solid argument for god they think it is

The current FBI would probably hire Derek.

As an actual 3rd shift security guard, we have access to custodian equipment if it's in the building. We don't just run to the nearest bathroom and grab some fuckin paper towels

So when the two finally "wake up" the museum is full of customers, which means staff just casually just walked around two people laying unconscious on the floor! 😅😅

Creationists essentially go "look this screw driver doesn't make this nail go into this wood. That must mean screwdrivers don't do anything!"

@Deconstruction_Zone 10 months ago

Most of these “doctors” don’t have relevant degrees in the field of study they are talking about. The ones that do disagree with the overwhelming consensus of experts. I’ll side with the 97%

"Eric wakes up in a hotel room and puts on a science documentary. It's frustrating because we could've avoided this whole movie had he just sat there and listened." 🤣
