It is like a punch in the gut to know that the creator of such a masterpiece has passed. I am so glad you were able to meet him and help share this work of art with us all.  R.I.P. Tim

Rest in peace, Tim. We all miss you. Thank you for the impact you had on our favorite hobby.

As a non modeller this layout is mind blowing.  I have no idea how you could conceive and build such a thing.  The narration and filming does justice such a wonderful piece of art.

I first met Tim in Kindergarten at Sunflower Elementary School in Glendora.  I don't remember our first conversation, but I'm sure it involved trains.  Tim gave me my love of trains and model railroading (and my first kitten!).  He opened his heart and house to so many model railroaders.  He is greatly missed.  R.I.P. my friend...

Dang. So sad to hear of Tim's passing. He was definitely a master of his craft and his beautiful layout really does the Pacific Division justice. I wasn't around in '76, but I really feel like I'm transported back there when I see this layout.

RIP Tim and what a beautiful Model Railroad Legacy he left us !!!

Yes RIP Tim. Thanks, it was a pleasure to meet you and operate on your beautiful railroad.  Frank Kenny.

Hopefully his masterpiece lives on. What a wonderful layout.

S.I.P Tim.  Thank you for your contribution to the entire Model Railroading Society.  Rest well.

I was very heavily inspired by Tim's Layout, I never had the chance to meet him but his work always got the creative fire burning. It is sad to hear of his passing but his layout and work will always stay with me

Truly one of the greatest layouts of all time

How beautiful! I have always loved this layout and it has been one of my biggest inspirations. R.I.P. Tim.
Amazing work.

Wow, sorry to hear of Tim's passing.  Such a beautiful layout!  Loved the variety of signals he used on the layout from semaphores, tri-lights and searchlights.

RIP Tim, you left quite a remarkable effort for all of us to enjoy.  Hat tip, too on the production for this video.  Every aspect matches the quality of Tim's legacy.  It is quite simply one of the most professional productions I have seen in this sector.  Arguably, the best.  Congrats to all involved and thank you for the time well spent in viewing the work.

I love this layout.  I watch several videos of it.  My heart is heavy to hear of Tim’s passing.  RIH😢😢

I ran across this video while at work and I am speechless as to the details, scale realism, the whole nine yards! I don't know what brand those engines are but they sure move nice! This guy was a true class A modeler. Great video!

The best looking layout I have ever seen !

I'm from the PNW ( Pacific Northwest) ,what a layout nicely done Tim.. RIP Tim

The layout is beautiful, R.I.P Tim

I love those center cabs, high-nose Alcos, and other members of the "dog pack" loco lashups. It's sad to hear about Tim's passing. He was a great modeler.
