Sometimes it's in the home.....small small spaces where a child hears things, speaks with friends about it and gets more informed.

The mother had to know her daughter was sleeping with an older man. It took 5 years for her to find out, I truly don’t believe that.

It’s OK to be attracted to whomever you please, but don’t ever think that one race is better than another, don’t ever think that one race treat women better than the other, she was tricked by television, that’s why we have to be careful what we watch on TV, it’s not real. It was a storyline, and it fooled her.

Wow this story is crazy and frankly sad to me. This is not coming from a place of judgement and it's just my opinion. Yes we have hormones going wild at the age 12 but it's very young to give up your innocence and be having full on sexual relations with a grown ass stinkin' man. Lots of young girls get SA'd but I guess back then it was a different time and a lot of young ladies didn't know they were actually being preyed upon by pedophiles they called their boyfriend. It makes me sick that at 12, a grown man thought it was okay to have sex with you and not one person stepped up and did anything to stop it. I definitely would not have allowed my daughter to marry anyone at that age. I would have called the police period. Being exposed to sex so young for some people can create a sex addiction later in life or feeling like they just need sex to be happy. I love that nowadays many women are de-centring men and remaining abstinent. Abstinence is key. Keep them legs closed, go to school, educate yourself, travel, practice healthy living and honestly stack your fkn money. I don't need any man to pick me because I pick myself. Thank you for sharing your story. It is inspiring to others who have it and also those who don't to protect themselves fiercely.
